How RSPS voting rewards work

What happens when you vote

1. In game you type something like ::vote, or click Vote on the server's website. This opens the server's vote page on a toplist, usually with your player name already filled in.
2. You solve a captcha and confirm. The toplist records one vote for that server.
3. The toplist sends a callback (a small web request) to the server, saying "player X voted".
4. The server checks the request is genuine, then gives you the reward, either straight away or the next time you type ::claim or ::voted.

On this list the callback is signed, so servers can tell it really came from us, and we retry it if the server is briefly offline. Owners can find the details in our vote callback docs.

Limits and fair rules

• Most toplists, including ours, allow one vote per player name and network every 12 hours for each server.
• Our ranking resets on the 1st of each month (00:00 UTC), so the list shows who is popular now. How ranking works
• Votes from VPN or bot networks, and sudden floods, are removed by a daily audit. Ads and payments never add votes.

Reward didn't arrive?

1. Check the name. The player name on the vote page must match your in-game name exactly. Spaces and underscores count.
2. Claim it. Many servers hold rewards until you type a claim command.
3. Wait a few minutes. If the server was restarting, callbacks are retried. On our list the retries continue for about a day.
4. Check the cooldown. A second vote within 12 hours isn't counted, and earns no reward.
5. Still missing? Contact the server's staff with the time you voted. Only they can give rewards.

What good vote rewards look like

Fair servers give small, steady rewards (points, a mystery box, an XP boost) and a streak bonus, not gear so strong that voting becomes mandatory. Be careful with servers that ask you to vote with several accounts or on many sites at once to "unlock" rewards.

Frequently asked questions

How often can I vote for an RSPS?

On this list you can vote once every 12 hours for each server, per player name and per network. Other toplists have similar limits.

Why didn't I get my vote reward?

Usually the player name didn't match exactly, the reward is waiting for a claim command, or the server was offline and the reward will arrive when the retry succeeds. Contact the server's staff if it still doesn't arrive.

Does voting cost anything?

No. Voting is free. Servers can't buy votes or rank on this list.

When do votes reset?

Our monthly ranking resets on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. Earlier months stay visible on each server page.
